The UK Careers Fair has announced Aster Group as headline sponsor of the Winchester Careers Fair, taking place on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at Winchester Guildhall. The free event will bring employers face-to-face with jobseekers, students and career changers from Winchester and the surrounding area.

Aster Group will use the event to showcase the breadth of careers available across housing and, through its family of brands including Enham Trust, care and support. Opportunities across the Group span areas including trades and maintenance, customer service, IT, marketing, finance, project management and community support, as well as apprenticeships and other routes into the organisation.

The team will also introduce visitors to Employment Plus, Aster’s specialist employment support programme, which helps disabled and neurodiverse people overcome barriers to work, build confidence and access meaningful employment opportunities.

Sara Bradbury, Assistant Director, Employment Plus at Aster Group, said:

“Choosing a career path can feel overwhelming, particularly when you’re not sure what direction you want to take. That’s why we’re excited to be sponsoring the Winchester Careers Fair. We want to show people that there are many different routes into rewarding careers and that it’s okay not to have everything figured out yet.

“At Aster, we’re passionate about helping people realise their potential. Through apprenticeships, learning and career development opportunities, we want to help people build confidence, develop their skills and achieve their goals.

“Through Employment Plus, we’re particularly proud to support disabled and neurodiverse people, as well as others facing barriers to employment, to access meaningful opportunities and fulfil their ambitions. We believe talent comes in many forms and everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive in the workplace.

“We’d encourage anyone attending the careers fair to come and have a conversation with us, ask questions and explore opportunities they may never have considered before. You don’t need a plan for the next 10 years – you just need to take that first step.”

Aran Sahota, General Manager at The UK Careers Fair, said:

“We’re thrilled to have Aster Group as our headline sponsor in Winchester. Their commitment to opening doors, especially through Employment Plus, is exactly what this fair is about: real conversations that lead to real opportunities.”

The Winchester Careers Fair runs from 10am to 2pm, and visitors are recommended to arrive by 1pm. Entry is free and visitors can register in advance at ukcareersfair.com/event/winchester-careers-fair or simply turn up on the day.
