The UK Careers Fair

We operate careers events and a Jobs Board connecting candidates with employers. Our publication covers work, skills and recruitment, alongside information about the events and services we provide.

The organisation’s commercial activities and its publishing sit within the same company: The UK Careers Fair Limited. That relationship matters when an article discusses our services, participating employers or findings drawn from our own records.

Our editorial remit

Finding a job and making a good hiring decision involve more than reading a vacancy. Our reporting, analysis and advice examine the evidence behind changes in employment, the routes into different occupations and the working arrangements candidates and employers need to understand.

Where we publish original analysis of our events or Jobs Board, readers should be able to see what was measured and what the findings cannot tell them about the wider market. Our standards for reporting our own data set out that distinction.

We also cover our own events. Those articles should make our role as organiser clear and help readers find the current practical information.

What the byline identifies

An article credited to The UK Careers Fair is credited to the organisation. This profile identifies the company responsible for that work; it does not supply a personal biography or claim a named editor’s credentials.

Some archive articles carry individual authors’ names. Their recorded bylines are preserved. Linking the publication’s standards or corrections process beside those articles does not change their authorship.

AI tools assist parts of the publication’s research, drafting, editing and imagery. Our AI and image policy explains the use of those tools and the organisation’s continuing responsibility for what it publishes.

Accountability should be easy to find

Questions about a source, an important omission or a factual error can be sent through the company’s editorial contact route. Please identify the article and the passage involved so that the issue can be examined against the evidence.
