Northumberland Teacher Training

Are you passionate about working with children and ready to make a difference in the classroom? Northumberland Teacher Training, led by Three Rivers Teaching School Hub, offers a supportive, school-based route into teaching with expert mentoring and high-quality training. As a trainee teacher, you’ll spend most of your week in a school placement, learning from experienced practitioners while gradually building your own teaching timetable. You’ll also take part in regular professional training sessions to develop your teaching practice, subject knowledge, and understanding of the curriculum. Our one-year programme leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and is delivered in partnership with the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT).
