April 2022 - Who's Hiring?

With restrictions in the UK being lifted it took a little while for people to start to get their confidence to be able to get themselves back out there and start applying for jobs that are not just working from home.

But this confidence has been booming over the last month and now more than ever are companies wanting to see people who are both interested in being within an office environment but also comfortable working from home. The integration of balance between the two seems to be figured out and now moving in the right direction.

Teachers

A lot is going on in the educational world, there are talks about longer school days for children to be able to catch up from the aftermath of the pandemic. This means that there is a need for more teachers to be hired from primary school up to college and university education.

Schools will also be looking for teachers to start working after the summer holidays that are just around the corner. Though people may be thinking that looking for teachers in April is a little too early when terms usually start in September, to get people feeling comfortable and ready for a new year, they will need to spend the summer getting ready.

Gardening / Estate Management

Companies like RHS are currently looking for a lot of new staff to look after estates and the surrounding gardens. With the summer coming up these roles need filling as soon as possible with the public wanting to start getting out and enjoying the good weather that is just around the corner.

A great career for someone to get into who love to be outdoors and enjoy the wildlife. There is a lot of expansion in this field as well, as you could start as a gardener and then move into ranks like a project manager and estate manager which are very good roles for development, leadership and still staying within an industry that you love.

Project Management

There is an opportunity on the horizon and now companies are wanting to find people who are dedicated, and passionate individuals to become project managers so that they can expand and reach higher goals. We decided to expand this to a section of its own because of the man industries that we saw that are currently looking for project managers, from IT to hospitality and even smaller businesses ready to take it to the next level since the pandemic.

To become successful in a role like this, companies want to see applicants that are knowledgeable in their field and with some sort of experience of taking their companies to another level and have good management skills with an array of people.
