Shop Assistant

Purpose of the role

To support the day-to-day running of the shop, helping to raise vital funds that enable Regenerage to deliver services for older people, carers, and families.

Main Responsibilities
• Provide a warm and friendly welcome to customers.
• Serve customers at the till, handle cash and card payments.
• Sort, price, and display donated goods.
• Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and well-presented.
• Assist with stock rotation and replenishment.
• Help create eye-catching window and shop displays.
• Promote Gift Aid to donors.
• Work as part of a team with staff and other volunteers.
• Follow health and safety rules.
• Algin with our values of equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Follow safeguarding and data protection guidelines.

Skills and Qualities Needed
• Friendly, approachable, and willing to help.
• Reliable and flexible.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Honest and trustworthy.
• No experience needed – full training will be provided.
