Explore hiring in this areaPost your jobs, courses and apprenticeships once — they work everywhere we do: on our national Jobs Board, broadcast to Google Jobs, and highlighted to the candidates coming to this event — for 12 months, at no extra cost.
Here are a few — every event is built to put your brand in front of people actively looking for something new.
Our London events are priced separately due to significantly higher venue and operational costs, alongside the increased scale and reach they offer. Exhibiting in London provides access to one of the UK's largest and most diverse candidate markets, making it a premium location within our event network.

Location guide / North West
Health sciences, maritime activity, professional services and creative businesses all form part of Liverpool’s economy. The waterfront, Georgian Quarter, Ropewalks and Baltic Triangle offer contrasting places to spend time. A city-region job can sit outside Liverpool itself, making the council boundary and rail or bus route worth checking early.

Know the areaHousing figures cover Liverpool local authority, not the whole Liverpool City Region. Employer and investment references may cover a wider area, including neighbouring boroughs.

Liverpool · 2025
Whole statistical area, not necessarily the town boundary.Employment rate, age 16–64: 70.3% · Liverpool · Jul 2025-Jun 2026. Survey estimate; local results can be volatile.
Area averages are not current asking prices or individual property valuations. Local short-term changes are volatile; use a year or longer. UK HPI house-price observations are provisional and subject to revision.
Invest Liverpool identifies health and life sciences, professional services, creative and digital work, manufacturing and maritime activity among the area's strengths. The city-region's March 2026 investment strategy also prioritises these fields. Regional schemes span several boroughs, so a Liverpool-branded opportunity may be outside the city itself.
The Knowledge Quarter includes the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Liverpool's Adult Learning Service offers English, maths, digital and work-related courses. Check assessments, course availability and eligibility directly, then relate your training choice to the jobs you want.
Compare central options such as the Georgian Quarter or Baltic Triangle with a search around Sefton Park, depending on your routine. Central cultural and evening activity may suit some households; proximity to green space may matter more to others. Visit the specific street and check shops, noise and transport at the times you will use them.
The official rent figure shown alongside covers Liverpool local authority. This all-property local-authority average is not a city-region figure or a quote for a chosen flat. Compare homes of similar size and include Council Tax, heating, broadband, travel and any parking or building charges.
Merseytravel's journey planner covers buses, trains, coaches and ferries, with live information and options for fewer changes or less walking. Merseyrail links central destinations; Lime Street is a key arrival point in the city centre. Use the relevant station and route for the actual address rather than treating all central stops as interchangeable.
A home near a useful service can support a routine without a car, but port, industrial or outer employment sites need a separate check. Test shifts, weekends and return journeys. The planned Liverpool Baltic station is not a present-day travel option; use existing routes and confirm any future opening separately.
The waterfront, Georgian Quarter, Ropewalks and Baltic Triangle offer contrasting settings for culture, eating and meeting people. In the Baltic, former warehouses accommodate creative workspaces and venues. Check current programmes and opening arrangements rather than assuming a familiar venue or event runs every day.
Sefton Park provides another rhythm, with paths, a lake, tennis and the Palm House. It can be a useful starting point for a regular walk or activity. Explore a local library, community group or class near your prospective home as well as the headline attractions; repeatable routines help a new city feel manageable.
Liverpool City Council provides Council Tax, refuse, parking and school arrangements within the city. Nearby addresses can fall under other councils even when described as Liverpool. Confirm the authority and the practical journey before comparing tenancies across the wider region.
Use NHS guidance for GP registration. Check childcare availability, hours and collection arrangements early, particularly if work involves shifts. Keep your housing and employment paperwork together, organise household accounts at handover, and leave room in the first month's budget for travel and essential setup.
We use official local authorities, transport operators, public data and destination organisations. Data periods are shown alongside figures. Employer examples describe the local economy; they are not a promise of vacancies or attendance at the fair.
Next editorial review due 3 December 2026. Prices, services and availability can change before then.

Tell candidates what the work involves, what support you offer and which skills can be learned on the job. A conversation at your stand gives both sides room to ask questions.
