No risk, book with confidence
Explore hiring in this areaPost your jobs, courses and apprenticeships once — they work everywhere we do: on our national Jobs Board, broadcast to Google Jobs, and highlighted to the candidates coming to this event — for 12 months, at no extra cost.
Here are a few — every event is built to put your brand in front of people actively looking for something new.
Our London events are priced separately due to significantly higher venue and operational costs, alongside the increased scale and reach they offer. Exhibiting in London provides access to one of the UK's largest and most diverse candidate markets, making it a premium location within our event network.
The highest level of visibility available — activated from the point of booking once all relevant information has been received.

Manufacturing and food businesses remain part of Bolton’s identity, alongside its shops, theatres and public services. The town has a working life of its own within Greater Manchester. Central homes and addresses nearer industrial sites suit different routines, while the moors offer a change of scene.

Bolton · 2025
Whole statistical area, not necessarily the town boundary.Employment rate, age 16–64: 67.8% · Bolton · Jul 2025-Jun 2026. Survey estimate; local results can be volatile.
Area averages are not current asking prices or individual property valuations. Local short-term changes are volatile; use a year or longer. UK HPI house-price observations are provisional and subject to revision.
Bolton Council's economic plan identifies manufacturing specialisms including food, textiles, chemicals, metal products and furniture. It names Warburtons and MBDA among established businesses.
Consider the supporting roles around production too: quality, maintenance, scheduling, finance, logistics and customer service. At the fair, ask about the precise site, shifts, training and any qualification or screening requirements. A role at an outlying business park needs a different commute from one in the town centre.
Compare a town-centre base with locations towards Smithills or Horwich and Middlebrook, depending on your workplace and preferred surroundings. Check shops, evening transport and any school or childcare journey at the address level.
The official rent figure shown alongside covers Bolton borough. This combines property types and is not the asking rent for a particular home. Compare current listings with the same bedroom count, then add Council Tax, utilities, broadband and commuting. A lower headline rent can be offset by a costly or inconvenient journey.
Bee Network journey planning brings together bus, tram, train and active-travel options across Greater Manchester. Use the actual Bolton workplace postcode rather than assuming all regional journeys need to go through central Manchester.
Check both directions at your expected working hours. Industrial, retail and hospitality roles can start or finish outside the most convenient services. If a journey involves more than one operator or mode, verify the ticket you need and the connection time before adding it to your monthly budget.
Visit Manchester's Bolton guide highlights Bolton Library and Museum, the Octagon, Albert Halls, Smithills Hall and Moss Bank Park. It also points towards the West Pennine Moors and Rivington for outdoor trips, giving you a mix of local culture and wider countryside.
Explore the town on an ordinary weekday and then spend time around a prospective home. Find the places you would use regularly, such as a library, exercise class or food shop. For countryside days, plan transport and conditions separately rather than assuming the wider visitor area is all within easy walking distance.
Use Bolton Council for the property's Council Tax, waste, housing and school information. Confirm parking arrangements and any shared-house responsibilities before signing. If you will work elsewhere in Greater Manchester, compare the full household routine, not just the time spent on the train or bus.
Use NHS guidance for GP registration. Keep your tenancy paperwork, employment details and a first-month budget together. For families, check childcare availability and hours directly with providers; a nearby setting is only useful if its day matches your work and travel commitments.
We use official local authorities, transport operators, public data and destination organisations. Data periods are shown alongside figures. Employer examples describe the local economy; they are not a promise of vacancies or attendance at the fair.
Next editorial review due 3 December 2026. Prices, services and availability can change before then.

Tell candidates what the work involves, what support you offer and which skills can be learned on the job. A conversation at your stand gives both sides room to ask questions.
