Who's Exhibiting?

By now, no doubt many of you will have been made aware of DeepSeek R1, a recently released AI model which has been designed for many advanced reasoning tasks, including coding, mathematics and decision making. Officially launched on January 20th of this year, it competes with other high end models such as OpenAI’s GPT-4o and is built with reinforcement learning (RL) so as to enhance reasoning capabilities while reducing the need for extensive labelled training data.

The West Midlands is a region in the heart of England known for its industrial heritage and diverse economy. It includes the West Midlands metropolitan county and several surrounding counties : Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire. Its central location makes it a hub for transportation and commerce. The region is well known for its cultural diversity, economic innovation and contributions towards the arts.

I have been intrigued by the many stories of people who have decided for a variety of reasons, to have a no spend year in all aspects of their life, both personal and professional. All frivolous and unnecessary spending is completely eradicated, only spending money on the very basics and certain necessities. It really does take a lot of willpower but by the end of the year, many not only have saved so much more money but also have gained a new perspective on spending and waste which they find extremely liberating.
