Police Scotland is now recruiting for a Security and Reception Officer to be based at our Dalmarnock office.
You will provide an effective and efficient Security/Reception service for the allocated building and responsible for the general security of the allocated buildings.
Please Note – this position will be worked across a shift pattern, please refer to the attached document for the specific working days and hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure staff and visitors ID cards are displayed at all times while in the building.
Patrol premises internally and externally as instructed.
Monitor and control alarm systems as instructed.
Monitor security CCTV system.
Secure rooms/offices outwith normal office hours.
Maintain key logs, supply and record the issuing of keys and ID cards to appropriate personnel, if required.
Ensure that access to the car park is restricted to authorised users.
Report defects (stairs, lighting, windows, etc.) to the Facilities Management Helpdesk.
Carry out health and safety surveys/inspections as instructed.
