To support the finance, audit and risk and information management (FARIM) team in their assurance, compliance and guidance roles. This role will directly support Scottish Police Authority (SPA) Corporate and Forensic Services.
The job holder will primarily support the work of the officers’ tier within DCE resources, this will provide the opportunity to work across the finance, audit and risk and information management team with a varied workload that will flex depending on business demands at different points throughout the typical business cycle.
The jobholder has a nominated line manager but will be allocated tasks from multiple staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are confident in the use of Microsoft 365, who have a strong attention to detail and who are able to work as part of a wider team as well as individually.
Training will be provided on the job, as well as having access to external courses to upskill and develop.
Due to the nature of this role, regular monthly travel will be required to our regional offices in Aberdeen, Inverness, Dumfries, Edinburgh and Scottish Crime Campus (Gartcosh). Due to this, it would be preferred if applicants held a Driving License (however, this is not essential).
This role does follow a hybrid working model. You will be required to attend the office at least 1 day per week, as assigned by your line manager.
