Level 2 – Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health

We provide adults in England with accredited free online courses. Working with the very best training providers in the UK, we are able to supply over 70 flexible, free online courses via UK government funding. Gain lifelong skills and nationally recognised, accredited qualifications via government-funded free online courses for adults in England.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for funding, learners must:
- Currently live in England and not be on a Skilled Worker/Sponsorship Visa
- Be aged 19 or above as of 31/08/2026
- Have access to a PC, laptop or computer
- Not currently be undertaking another funded course, such as an apprenticeship or another funded Level 2 qualification

About the Course:

Learners will complete their chosen course through one of our training providers. The courses are flexible and are fully funded through the Adult Skills Fund, a Government-funded scheme.

Learners will have approximately 8–12 weeks to complete their course, with a recommended minimum of 5 hours of study per week.

The course is made up of several units, with assessment questions at the end of each unit. Learners will generally have around 2–3 weeks to complete each unit, with deadlines in place to help keep them on track.

Tutor support is available throughout the course, so learners can receive guidance if they need additional help or support with their studies.
