CABOT HIGHLANDS

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintenance duties related to all aspects of turf management practices
- Proactively contribute and support the Greenkeeper / Groundsman Team
- Support and lead where necessary the implementing and monitoring high standards of grounds maintenance and occasional landscape development on the Golf Course
- Operate machinery, tools, equipment and materials to achieve and maintain the desired standards on the golf course
- Encourage and support all members of the team who are operating machinery, tools and equipment so following all safe systems of work and associated procedures
- Operators on the Golf Course to ensure that a positive customer experience is had by each member and visitor
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Experience or qualifications in turf maintenance and agronomy practices
- H&S training in relevant practices to ensure H&S is practiced as per company policy
- First Aid training desirable but not essential
- Chainsaw qualification desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of Toro irrigation systems desirable
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow and wind.
- Early starts or later finishes depending on the weather and daylight hours
- Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers with or without the use of two-way radios.
- Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching, shoveling and/or raking.
