What will you be doing?
You will be providing British Sign Language interpreting services for a variety of organisations. In this role you will be making a difference by supporting those accessing services within the NHS, local authorities, charities and businesses.
What skills do you need?
- Excellent communication, language and organisation skills
- Confidence, enthusiasm and a professional attitude
- Registered & Valid BSL NRCPD Card
- Be able to confidently interpret for BSL
- Be eligible for self-employment in the UK
- Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the Update Service - please note we require it to be for the Child and Adult Workforce, with results for both Barred Lists (if you do not already hold an Enhanced DBS, it's no problem - we can assist you in applying for one) Your NRCPD Card will be proof of this
