Risk Assessment & Admin/Data Co-ordinator

Ngaged Ltd provides professional mentoring, wraparound guidance, education and nurture across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. We work with young people who have become disengaged from school and society due to conditions such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, behaviour leading to exclusion, school phobia, drug addiction, family issues, trauma and many other factors. This role is a remote based role across Hampshire, Dorset & Wiltshire therefore we are seeking applications from candidates who reside in these areas and can attend in-person events and mandatory training throughout the academic year.
Purpose of the job:
- Promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people at all times
- To ensure the safety, compliance, and suitability of off-site learning environments for vulnerable students
- Formulate individual risk assessments specifying control measures, triggers and de-escalation strategies
- Providing support to the Senior Leadership Team as requested
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all procedures strictly align with relevant local health and safety rules, safeguarding mandates, and education laws.
- Carry out thorough pre-placement suitability, safeguarding, and health and safety checks of all external activities
- To collaboratively work with the Safeguarding team and relevant Department Managers to create bespoke risk assessments for students.
- To carry out regular monitoring and quality assurance to ensure continued compliance.
- Monitor student activity and establish safe learning environments.
- To provide administrative support to the Department Leads and Managers, as required.
- To ensure continuing professional/curriculum development and to participate in training where appropriate, keeping up to date with your own subject(s) as well as national and local developments in education and safeguarding.
- To report all student-related safeguarding concerns to the DSL and record on the relevant safeguarding system used by the company.
- To maintain diligence in terms of the conduct of other professionals working with vulnerable young people and record on the relevant safeguarding system used by the company any low-level concerns.
- To build strong professional relationships with students, parents and other education professionals to support positive outcomes for the young person.
Pay & Benefits:
This position is offered as permanent full time, however we will consider part time hours for the right candidate! All of our positions are term time only (39 weeks of the year)!
For a full time, permanent position we offer a salary of £24,000 per annum (term time only!!).
