Residential Childcare Practitioner

We are looking for a Residential Childcare Practitioner to join Positive Footsteps Group Limited. We welcome qualified and experienced childcare workers, as well as unqualified individuals who would like a change in direction. We require candidates that believe they have the attributes to offer children who have experienced trauma and abuse, a safe, consistent and non-judgemental, caring approach. We are looking for someone who displays attitudes and behaviours in line with our company values.

Knowledge & Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals (Desirable).
An understanding of trauma-informed and relationship-based care, or a willingness to learn.
An awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and children's rights.
Basic IT skills and confidence using electronic recording systems.
A full UK driving licence (Desirable).

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, bank holidays and regular sleep-ins.
