Nursery Practitioners & Teaching Assistants – Gaydon

We're seeking qualified, experienced Early Years professionals who deliver outstanding childcare.

Bank work: Flexible (Block bookings/Full-time/Part-time) 3 days minimum.
Shifts: Monday to Friday (Full days – 8 hours minimum, or PM shifts from 12 pm)
Salary: Up to £16.25 per hour (including holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care and learning for children aged 0–5
Support development in line with the EYFS framework
Maintain safe, stimulating, and inclusive environments
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and nursery policies
Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare (UK recognised)
TA qualification Level 2 or Level 3 gained BEFORE 2014 only
EYPS (Early Years Professional Status)
EYTS (Early Years Teacher Status)
PGCE (Early Years/Primary preferred)
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with Early Years/EYFS experience
Experience:

Proven UK nursery or early years experience (desirable)
Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding (desirable)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
