Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Service & Maintenance Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems across multiple sites throughout Devon and Cornwall. This role involves working on high security sites for prestigious client, so professionalism and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and installations on equipment including AHUs, VRVβs, split systems, fan coils and chillers.
Diagnose, inspect and repair components including heat pumps, valves, and associated pipework.
Respond promptly to emergency service calls and resolve issues effectively.
Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and replace faulty parts.
Troubleshoot faults with precision.
Work closely with team members to ensure smooth project completion.
Key Skills
NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering.
Proven experience working on commercial air conditioning and Refrigeration systems (essential)
Skilled in pipework for varied system installations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective teamwork.
Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
Full UK driving licence
