IT Infrastructure Engineer

We’re recruiting an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join Milton Keynes City Council, supporting the systems and services that keep our organisation running effectively for local people.At Milton Keynes City Council, we are dedicated, respectful and collaborative. Our ICT service plays a vital role in delivering reliable, secure and modern technology that enables colleagues across the organisation to provide essential services to our communities.In this role, you’ll provide third line technical support and take ownership of key infrastructure systems, helping to maintain our server and desktop environment. Your work will underpin the day-to-day activities of ICT users across the council, ensuring systems are secure, resilient and performing well.This is the role for you if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with a wide range of stakeholders and contributing to a reliable technology environment that supports our city.This role may be suitable for home working, following an assessment.
