Trackwork Limited offers a fully funded, seven-week Rail Engineering training programme designed to provide eligible candidates with the practical skills, industry-recognised qualifications and confidence needed to take their first steps into the railway industry.
What does the seven-week course include?
Our programme combines five weeks of Level 2 Rail Engineering training with two weeks of essential safety-critical railway training and assessments, including:
• City & Guilds Diploma Level 2 in Rail Engineering
• Competency for Core Plant & Small Tools
• Health & Safety Awareness
• Manual Handling
• Fire & First Aid Awareness
• Ironman
• Track Trolley
• Personal Track Safety (PTS)
• Track Induction Course (TIC)
• Direct Current Conductor Rail (DCCR)
• OLEC 1
Guaranteed Paid Work Trial Shift
One of the biggest benefits of training with Trackwork is that every learner who successfully completes the full seven-week programme is guaranteed the opportunity to undertake a paid work trial shift with a rail employer.
This gives learners a valuable opportunity to put their new skills into practice, gain real industry experience and take an important first step towards securing employment in the railway sector.
Throughout the programme, learners receive guidance, practical training and ongoing employment support from our experienced team.
