St John Scotland was formed in 1947, and since our beginning, we have grown and responded to the changing needs of communities across Scotland. St John Scotland is dedicated towards saving lives and serving communities. Whether providing CPR training, increasing public access to defibrillators, being Community First Responders or transporting patients to hospitals, St John Scotland is there when it matters most.
Our CPR Lead will support the delivery of bystander CPR demonstrations to community groups across your local area. The demonstrations are very hands on - we aim to give people the skills they need to recognise a cardiac arrest and take the appropriate action. We work with schools (from Primary 1 and above), community groups, businesses and other organisations. Demonstrations are organised and delivered by volunteers. St John Scotland promote the placing of Public Access Defibrillators in communities across Scotland and offer free CPR and defibrillator awareness as part of this work.
