Support Worker

Support Worker Location: Springburn Rate of pay: £10.02 per hour Mochridhe is currently recruiting for a team of compassionate and hard-working individuals to undertake the role of Support Worker in the Springburn area of Glasgow, supporting a young male for a 24-hour care package. We are specifically recruiting for male support workers who are physically active to undertake 12hr shifts and activities with the service user.

This is for permanent, full time positions and the shifts will be 12hr shifts, waking nights and sleepovers, the shifts will be 2:1. What will the role involve? • Social support • Assisting with general household tasks • Safeguarding • Assisting with preparing meals • Supporting the service user with achieving their goals in life Experience/Knowledge.

Previous experience as a Support Worker is essential for this specific care package, with experience in Learning Disabilities, challenging and aggressive behaviour. The ideal candidates will be physically fit, enthusiastic and encouraging the service user to be independent. A driving licence is preferable for this position. Due to service user requirements, we can only accept male applicants.
