There are two entry routes to join us as a new police constable in the Met. Simply choose the route that best suits how you prefer to learn, your experiences or qualifications. Whichever you choose, you’ll be employed as a police officer from day one, mixing learning in a classroom with learning alongside experienced officers policing London’s streets. Your training will set you up with the skills and experience you need to succeed as a police constable, all while earning a competitive salary.
