Teaching Assistant

Headlands School is set in Penarth, the Vale of Glamorgan. Our school provides specialist education to day and residential pupils between the ages of 7 and 19, who have an emotional, social and behavioral difficulties and a range of associated needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will also supervise lunches, some breaks and accompany pupils on school trips and activities. You'll be working 39 weeks per year on a term time only basis. You will make a difference in each pupils life by supporting the teacher in the classroom to deliver lessons, meeting pupils as they come into school each day, helping with setting up the classroom. You will build relationships with pupils and their families to support their learning. You will also assist teachers with planning lessons and assessing pupils
