About the role
We are continually enhancing our service and now have exciting opportunities available within Adults’ Health & Care Reablement for highly skilled, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Occupational Therapists to join us. We are passionate about working in collaborative partnership with organisations across Health and Social care in maximising independence, preventing hospital admissions, and facilitating rapid discharge from hospital to improve outcomes for the people of Hampshire.
Occupational Therapy principles underpin our service, and we are continually seeking opportunities to enhance delivery. Personal development for all staff is a priority, having a structured workforce development plan in place whereby we actively encourage and support continuing professional development, including formal qualification routes. We have an exciting new approach to enhanced and sustainable moving and handling with vulnerable adults by using innovative collaborative technology (Cobots), equipment, techniques, and training. As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for leading holistic assessments of Reablement needs and planning Reablement interventions to support across a multi-disciplinary team and have opportunity to support service development and innovation.
There may also be opportunities to work across Hampshire as part of a county wide Reablement Service comprising Occupational Therapy, Sensory Services and CQC Registered Community Response Staff. Travel within Hampshire may be required, you will need to respond flexibly to these requirements. This post will require working over a 7-day pattern.
