The Head of Housing Support is responsible for all Goleudy’s services that are funded via Housing Support Grant. Overseeing the management of dispersed teams of various grades, this includes several 24-hour projects, drop in services, accommodation projects and several tenancy support schemes, across South West Wales. This role sits in our senior management tier and whilst it is a strategic leadership role, Goleudy is a smaller organisation where Directors and Senior Managers will often need to complete operational work. On an annual cycle your strategic duties will include business planning, policy development, submission of tenders, contract mobilisation and service improvement. You will be responsible for the complete cycle of service delivery for the Charity’s clients from rough sleeping to moving into a new home. On a day to-day basis you can encounter everything from complex negotiations to being consulted on deeply operational matters including, maintenance of assets, supervising service delivery responding to evolving situations. You will provide strong leadership to the operations managers team and inspire innovation and creativity, ensuring a continuous improvement culture with regards to service quality. You will lead our PIE (psychologically informed environment) aspirations, keeping abreast of the latest thinking in this field and undertaking training and self-directed learning to lead practitioners. You will ensure that all health and safety, legal, GDPR, regulatory, contract and compliance requirements are met in full. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will take the lead on the development and implementation of the strategies and policies for all our Housing Support Grant (HSG) projects.
