Starting Salary: £20,000 – £21,000 dependant on experience/age

Role Summary

To assist the Principle CAD, Projects Director and Project Managers throughout a project’s design lifecycle

Responsibilities:

♦ Make applications for existing utility apparatus records

♦ Update Affected/Non- affected Tracker

♦ File the information in a manner to aid the CAD team members

♦ Challenge late receipt of information to avoid programme risk

♦ Work closely with the CAD Team members

♦ Utilise the available CAD tools such as templates, blocks, sheet sets, customised workflows to  maintain high volume and accurate work output

♦ Assist in the maintenance and updating of the Company CAD Library (blocks, line types,  templates)

♦ Produce accurate models/drawings within allocated timeframes

Knowledge and Experience Required:

♦ An interest/knowledge in the Construction Industry/BIM

♦ A desire to learn and progress within the department

♦ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision ♦ Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list

♦ Basic knowledge in AutoCAD/Civil 3D (additional training will be given)

♦ Mathematical skills to complete calculations

♦ Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Pro
