Starting Salary: £22,000 – £23,000 dependant on experience/age

Role Summary

To assist the Principle CAD, Director, and Projects Managers throughout a project’s design life cycle  through to delivery. Ensuring that the projects are delivered within the agreed limits for scope, time,  cost, and quality.  

Responsibilities:

♦ Create a variety of 2D and 3D models/drawings in line with client requirements and  company’s CAD standard and BIM protocol.

♦ Work closely with the other CAD team members, Project managers, Technical Administrator  and Principle CAD.

♦ Utilize all available CAD tools such as templates, blocks, sheet sets, customized workflows to  maintain high volume work output.

♦ Assist in the maintenance and updating of the company CAD Library (blocks, line types,  templates).

♦ Produce accurate models/drawings within allocated time frames.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

♦ Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

♦ Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

♦ Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list.

♦ Problem solving, creativity and innovation.  

♦ Ability to organise time effectively to complete projects within given timeframes. ♦ Able to work openly and co-operatively with others.

♦ Mathematical skills to complete calculations.

♦ Advantageous - appreciation of BIM processes and workflows.

♦ Knowledge of the principles of the construction industry.

♦ Competent user of Microsoft Word, Adobe pro and Excel.

♦ Beneficial knowledge in Dynamo.
