Support Worker £9.60 per hour Full-time & Part-time Leeds, LS5 Full training provided. We’re looking for great people to join an existing team based in Kirkstall. We deliver support to 2 males and 1 female living in their own flats on the same site, as well as providing support to individuals in the community. The people we support have varying needs from mild learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of distress. Day to day you will be providing support with personal care (prompting only), medication administration, behaviours, relationships, finances and household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. This is in addition to supporting people to engage in the activities they enjoy and encourage them to further develop their interests. The people we support in Kirkstall enjoy socialising, arts/crafts, culture, animals, gaming and lego to name a few. You will be supporting people to manage their day to day tasks and live fulfilling lives, whilst being part of a team that really cares! All training is provided by Dimensions so experience is not essential. Shifts can vary depending on the needs of the people we support but are typically long or short days, with sleep ins, and a share of the weekends which are split fairly among the team.
