Fantastic Opportunity in our Engineering Department at Crown

We have a fantastic opportunity in our Engineering department to work across the CT Digital Manufacturing team. This role will focus on designing, supporting, and developing software solutions based on business needs across Crown.

Candidate Profile:

Main Responsibilities:

• Capture requirements for software developments in support of the CT business or its customers and develop plans for delivery.
• Design appropriate applications to meet requirement specifications using suitable software platform technologies.
• Develop, test, and document software applications as required by design.
• Flexible use of software application platforms to meet the requirement specification. This includes technologies like C#, Angular, Blazor, ASP.net, .net core, Web API, EF Core, SQL, and TSQL.
• Provide end-user IT support when necessary, collaborating with team members across a diverse range of IT technologies in a science and engineering-based R&D organisation.
• Utilize the team's existing processes for documentation and coding standards.
• Participate in team sessions on best practices for software development, always exploring new methods for improvement.

Required Education and Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent experience.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience using Relational Databases (SQL Server preferred).
• 2+ years of experience using a frontend framework e.g., Angular, Blazor, React.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Proficient in C#.
• Strong technical background.
• Knowledge and interest in emerging technologies and their potential applications.
• Understanding of Agile Development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a drive for continual improvement.
• Team player.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Beneficial Education, Experience, Skills (but not required):

• Experience in VB.net.
• Good understanding of CSS.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
