Job Description:

The role - Working in the Business Services Team you will be responsible for the preparation and completion of financial year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will also undertake the preparation of the corresponding corporation tax returns, partnership self-assessment returns and personal tax returns as well as additional and ad-hoc projects. On a daily basis you will work closely with the clients, the other Business Services team members and the team Managers. In this role you will undertake your AAT accountancy professional qualification and if applicable, undertake this via an apprenticeship. The person - This role is suitable for those looking to start their accountancy career and who are committed to their personal development. You will be a team player with good time management skills. You will be committed to developing personally, both in terms of your accounting knowledge and in acquiring a professional qualification. The ability to communicate at all levels and have a flexible approach to problem solving is needed for this busy role. You will be motivated by always providing exemplary client service. You are able to meet deadlines, applying a high attention to detail, and are comfortable with basic number work and able to analyse information. This role is suitable for those educated to A-level or degree level (all degrees considered). A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (grade A* - C, 9 – 4) including English Language and maths is essential. You will be able to use Microsoft products confidently.
