As the Process Lead using your robust knowledge of Process Improvement methodologies and your proven experience in leadership & management, you will be responsible for managing the Process Improvement team in identifying and addressing areas requiring operational improvement, and eliminating waste to maximise production output, as well as: Key Responsibilities: • Report into the Design & Technical Manager • Lead a team of 4 process improvement / production technicians / engineers • Responsible for management of team – project management, recruitment, performance, disciplinary, absence etc. • Understand company objectives, determining appropriate KPIs, managing data collation and analysis • Review current processes to identify areas of improvement using lean principles (5S, Six Sigma etc) Liaising with the Quality department to address nonconformities etc The Successful Applicant You will be an experienced leader from a Manufacturing/Process/Production Engineer background, looking to take that next step in your career, you should have experience of working within a manufacturing environment, as well as: o Recognised engineering qualification (Degree, HND, HNC etc.) o Inspirational Leader, first hand experience of managing a team o Experience in Lean and Six Sigma o Proven experience of designing and implementing process improvements, specifying and procurement of plant and equipment o Project experience is essential – 3+ years minimum experience o Ability to define, collect & review data using appropriate methods What's on Offer Excellent career development opportunities Competitive salary according to your qualifications and experience Bonus opportunity based on performance Security of working for an international family-owned business Full technical training package to enhance your product knowledge Company Pension Scheme & Life Assurance Employee Assistance Program
