Care Assistant

Job description The Role: Care Assistant · To provide a high level of person-centred care to people in a care home setting. · To provide personal care including washing, dressing and providing continence care. · To assist service users in all aspects of their lives, assuring their health and happiness. · To be willing to work as part of a team. · To ensure that any issues relating to service users’ health and wellbeing are passed on to supervisory staff. Requirements or Skills: · You must have the right to work in the UK; · You must have at least 6 months experience of professional care experience; · You must provide 2 professional referees, one of whom must be your most recent employer; · You must have experience in the moving and handling of people and personal care; · You must be willing to join the PVG scheme; · You must be willing to become a member of the SSSC; · You must be willing to complete all training, both online and classroom based.
