The Role:

Support Worker

Support Workers – Care at Home Services
Location: Aberdeen
Reference: 86/23
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Rate: £10.90 per hour (£11.30 if SVQ2 Qualified)

If yes, then this is your opportunity to join one of Scotland’s leading and most innovative care providers as a Support Worker, working across our Care at Home Service in Aberdeen.

Blackwood provides high-quality, innovative care for the elderly and people living with physical disabilities and long-term conditions such as dementia and multiple sclerosis. Our services encompass a wide variety of assistance, including personal hygiene, dressing, medication prompts, and light household chores.

We are currently seeking full-time Support Workers for our Care at Home Service in Aberdeen. At Blackwood, we value enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible individuals who can deliver care in line with our customers' personal support plans. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to work with our award-winning digital care system, CleverCogs™.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • A passion for delivering high-quality care.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
  • The ability to work independently in the community and as part of a team.
  • A relevant qualification (SVQ2). This is not mandatory as training will be provided.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
