Barton Electrical is a busy electrical services business, based just outside Guildford, Surrey. We are a family-owned business but with a size that allows us to take on work stretching from large contracts to domestic call outs. We are seeking a bright, articulate, and motivated individual to assist our Office Manager with day to day running of the office including scheduling and finance functions of the business. The main responsibilities will be: • Answering the phone and making customer bookings. • Responding to email enquiries. • Scheduling in electrical works for the electricians. • Ordering materials. • Issuing sales invoices • Chasing debts from customers and ensuring good credit management. • General office tasks and supporting the office manager and directors The individual: • Should have good knowledge of Outlook • Experience of Xero accounting software would be an advantage. • Be confident with Microsoft. • Have a professional phone manner. The hours are 9 - 5.00 Monday to Friday but we will also consider this role as a job share for 2-part timers. FTE Pay: £23,000 - £24,000
