Relationships are at the heart of all we do. This role includes leading a key family of mixed age children. You will need to offer professional love to our children, and nurture each child’s individual needs and interests. You will be supported by our team of teachers to plan for the individual children in your care. We use our shared understanding of how children learn to form provocations that build on children’s interests. Working in partnership with parents and promoting the home learning environment is central to our work.
We use online learning journals and hold regular meetings to share children’s learning, but find the best way to engage with parents is over a cup of coffee or at our family festival. Your working days will be busy, fun, creative, adventurous, exciting, fulfilling, inviting, caring so basically completely different to anything else you may have experienced. To join our team of skilled educators, practitioners, artists and professional huggers you will need to be positive, collaborative, caring and nurturing, have high energy levels and a qualification in Early Years and Education to at least a Level 3. Up to five weeks holiday plus 8/9 bank holidays. 37 hours worked over 4 days - Imagine having that extra day a week off!
