You will have up to date knowledge, experience and passion for supporting clients who are vulnerable to mental health and substance misuses issues. The successful candidate must have an understanding of the issues that face this client group, have skills in engaging people positively, have good interpersonal skills with a flexible and practical approach to delivering services through working in partnership with key agencies. The successful candidate will need to be committed and enthusiastic. You will be required to provide support designed to minimise the impact of substance misuse, with an emphasis on improving the resilience, emotional well-being and social functioning. You will promote healthier lifestyles and wellbeing to break the harmful patterns of behaviours and risk-taking that negatively affects clients. You will be expected to work in partnership alongside a variety of other agencies. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check at enhanced level and must be able to drive. We are an equal opportunities employer.
