Trainee Surveyor/Analyst

Your role will include all disciplines of asbestos surveying and analytical works in accordance with our UKAS accreditation and ABP Quality manual. The role involves training as a surveyor as well as an analyst with professional courses and examinations and work based training. During a survey samples of suspect asbestos containing materials are taken, the sampling points are logged on a site plan and photographs are taken accompanied by a materials risk assessment. Based on the survey findings then we advise our clients what action is required. An analysts role is to undertake air monitoring using air sampling pumps and mounted filters and then assess fibre concentrations in the air sampled using microscopy techniques. The analysts role is site based and involves problem solving, microscopy and liaison with contractors and clients.
